First official release of PotatoArcade!

A first version of PotatoArcade, the portable Java multiple arcade emulator is available for download.
It supports 7 drivers as for now and is based on PotatoMulti 0.0.4.

PotatoMulti 0.0.3 just released!

We just released a version of PotatoMulti, our portable and multiple Java offline emulator.
It supports the following systems:
- Sega Megadrive/Genesis
- Nec Pc-Engine/TurboGrafx16
- Nintendo NES
- Sega Master System
- Coleco Colecovision
- Sega Game Gear.
Windows version is already available. Linux version is forthcoming and other platforms should follow...

Open-GL Preview...

Support for the NES console is progressing nicely:
- Mappers 1,2,3,4 are now supported
- Scrolling is fixed
- Several other issues are fixed (colors).

Here is also a preview screen of the offline version of PotatoMulti.
As you can see we added OpenGL support and Mega Man is pretty cool to play...

First official arcade game driver without MAME in it...

We wrote a completely new Java driver for the arcade game 4 En Raya without using MAME code. Not as easy as before to implement (generic approach was nice for that) but definitely worths it (huge speed increase and no MAME license issues anymore).

We are working on a new NES driver for the PotatoMulti emulator.
Expect a first release on http://www.game-oldies.com as soon as the scrolling issues are fixed.
Compatibility and speed seems already quite good.
